Eddie came to our team at Outdoor Thrills Van Co. looking for a fully custom 4WD Mercedes Sprinter camper van designed for off-grid travel, mountain adventures, and comfortable long-term living on the road. Built on a versatile 144” Mercedes Sprinter platform, this conversion combines rugged capability with a clean, modern interior built for year-round exploration.
Designed for Flexible Living & Adventure
A major priority in Eddie’s custom camper van build was creating a spacious and adaptable living area without sacrificing functionality. To achieve this, we designed a dinette seating area that easily converts into a large king-size bed, maximizing both daytime comfort and nighttime sleeping space.
The swivel front seats further expand the interior lounge area, creating an open and social layout that feels far larger than a traditional 144” wheelbase van conversion.
Modern Interior with Warm Cabin Feel
Inside the van, we incorporated natural finishes and clean detailing to create a warm, inviting space that still feels rugged enough for adventure travel. The shiplap walls and ceiling pair perfectly with the butcher block countertops, giving the van a modern cabin-inspired aesthetic while maintaining durability for life on the road.

To support remote work and travel connectivity, the van also includes a Starlink system, allowing reliable internet access from remote campsites and mountain destinations across Canada.
