Story
The brief for Bayly & Dustin’s Van was a light and bright chic space with room for their family of 3 to get away on weekends and the occasional short road trip. They needed space for their son with the potential to bring a friend along, as well as a safe space for their pup.
With this in mind, Bayly & Dustin opted for a long-wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter passenger van. This meant the rear seat mounts were already factory mounted for us to install the back seats, which also made up half of their dining area. The other half was made up of swivelling front seats and a Lagun table in the middle. We went for a light and bright colour scheme to make the van feel more open and airy, which also gave her the blank canvas to turn this house into a home.
Fitted with a queen size bed, single children’s bunk, propane stove, Propex heater, outdoor propane shower, bar style 12 volt fridge, full panty and even a dog crate. This van is powered with 210 amp hour AGM deep cycle batteries, 2000 watt inverter, 40 amp DCDC charger, 40 amp solar controller, 200 watts of solar and a shore power hook up.
