When Alice and Shawn came to us inspired by the famous Concrete Oasis (originally built by Nicole and Edden), we knew this would be one of our most exciting builds yet.
Designed as a true home on wheels, this build prioritizes space, comfort, and thoughtful design—perfect for long-term travel and everyday living on the road.
Flexible Living with a HappiJac Bed Lift
At the heart of this build is a HappiJac bed lift system, allowing the bed to raise and transform the van into a spacious, open living area during the day. With room to relax, work, and entertain, the layout makes the most of every square inch. A pocket door provides easy access to the cab while maintaining separation when needed.
A Kitchen & Bathroom Built for Real Life
This van features a large, fully equipped kitchen with an induction cooktop, microwave, and 85L sliding fridge, making it easy to prepare meals on the road. A full bathroom with shower and Dry Flush toilet adds everyday comfort, while a 12V water heater, 100L fresh water tank, and 85L undermount grey water tank support extended off-grid travel.
Warm, Modern Interior Design
After recently renovating their home with beautiful maple cabinetry, Alice and Shawn wanted to bring that same warmth into their van. Matching maple wood cabinetry, LED mood lighting, and clever storage solutions—including closet space and a designated garage area—create a space that feels both functional and inviting.
Off-Grid Power & Climate Control
Built for complete independence, this van is powered by a 10kW EcoFlow electrical system, providing ample power for longer stays without hookups. A Dometic air conditioner ensures comfort in warmer climates, while bug screens throughout allow for airflow without sacrificing comfort.
Adventure-Ready Exterior
On the outside, aftermarket all-terrain tires prepare the van for varied terrain, while a roof rack, rear door tire carrier with ladder, and Fiamma awning add storage and outdoor living space. A pull-out outdoor table creates the perfect setup for meals or work outside the van.
Designed as a true extension of their home, Alice and Shawn’s custom camper van blends smart engineering with warm, modern design—ready for everyday living, long-term travel, and wherever the road leads next.
